THE MAISON — Fragment IV
THE MAISON
Fragment IV
Constancy
What is precious is not cared for only when it begins to fade.
A rose is not tended because it is fragile.
It is tended because its beauty is alive — and all that lives asks for attention.
Some leaves will carry the marks of what has passed.
The rose does not return to them in search of perfection.
It continues.
Through each deliberate gesture, it is given the conditions to grow again, to form new leaves, to offer another bloom.
The ritual cannot rewrite what has been.
Nor does it promise that time will leave no trace.
It preserves what may still unfold.
For care is not the correction of something unworthy.
It is the quiet recognition that what you value deserves your continued attention.
The Maison may create the ritual.
Your Grace gives it constancy.
